Thanksgiving

October is my favorite month; Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.

My other favorite holiday is, well all of them.

Though I am partial to Thanksgiving. I think it is because it is still technically fall so you get to incorporate all the things, I love with it including pumpkins, leaves, sweater weather and bath and body works fall candles.

When Ryan and I had our marriage blessing last October the photos below are exactly what I envisioned for our intimate day. I wanted a huge table to set up in the backyard and a makeshift dance floor. I wanted a fire pit and China and crafted cocktails and a married #hastag (I liked #themermids (Meinke and Schmid combined) #takemetomeinketown #youplusmeequalsmeinke #meinketopia and #fallforthemeinkes

half out guest didn't use Instagram, so it didn't matter, but my point is I had a whole vision.

We were worried about weather and ultimately did not want to spend a ton on rentals.

So, it was much more simplistic, inside and we used family members vintage party dishes, ultimately it was truly beautiful and perfect, but if I had the budget what you see below is what I would have done!

I also want to stress how much every year I want our Thanksgiving table to look this rad!
